January
The Revd Andrew Adam was appointed Associate Minister, Wantage Downs; The Revd Joanna Allen was appointed Team Vicar, Dorchester; The Revd Jeremy Auld left the post of Rector, Woodstock and Bladon to join the Diocese of Europe; The Revd Katie Wakeman-Toogood was appointed Vicar, Earley St Peter; The Revd Mike Griffiths was appointed Rector, West Downland; The Revd Prebendary Jane Haslam was appointed Area Dean, Aston and Cuddesdon; The Revd John Durant retired from the post of Vicar, Vale; The Revd Stephen Mills was appointed Vicar, The Cookhams; The Revd David Brown was appointed Area Dean, Bracknell; The Revd Sarah Mortimer was appointed Team Vicar, Bicester with Bucknell, Caversfield and Launton; The Revd Michael Johnson resigned from the post of Team Vicar, Beasconsfield to take up a post in the Diocese of Truro; The Revd Fergus Butler-Gallie was appointed Vicar, Charlbury with Shorthampton; The Revds Jason St John Nicholle, Ainsley Swift, Gillian Barrow-Jones, Darren McFarland, Helen Kendrick and David Williams were installed as Honorary Canons of Christ Church Cathedral.
February
The Revd Piers Bickersteth retired from the post of Rector, Arborfield with Barkham; The Revd Samson Kuponiyi was appointed Associate Minister, Radley, Sunningwell and Kennington.
We were shocked and saddened by the sudden death of The Rt Revd Dr Alan Wilson, Bishop of Buckingham.
March
The Revd Alicia Baker was appointed Area Dean of Deddington; The Revd Canon Catharine Mabuza resigned from the posts of Vicar, Warfield and Area Dean of Bracknell to be appointed Archdeacon in Guildford Diocese; The Revd Michelle Porter-Babbage resigned from the post of Associate Minister, Warfield to become a Pioneer Oversight Minister in the Diocese of Truro; The Revd Ross Meikle resigned from the post of Vicar, Reading St Luke with St Bartholomew to become Missioner for Young People, Salisbury Cathedral; The Revd John Ainslie resigned from the post of Associate Minister, Boyne Hill All Saints to become Associate Minister, St Michael and All Angels, Maidstone; The Revd Katherine Cooke was appointed Team Vicar, Cherwell Valley; The Revd Sarah Nesbitt was appointed Team Rector, Wallingford; The Revd Anita Smith retired from the post of Vicar, Banbury St Hugh.
