Priest-poet the Revd Esther Lay is celebrating being signed by the same literary agent who represents the Poet Laureate following an award-winning year.
We are delighted at the announcement that the Rt Revd and Rt Hon Dame Sarah Mullally DBE is to be the next Archbishop of Canterbury.
A new face will be joining the team at Church House in September as we welcome Kim Grosvenor to the Director of Secretariat role.
There were celebrations in Oxford on Sunday as 20 new deacons were ordained at Christ Church Cathedral. There were two services led by the Bishop of Buckingham, the Rt Revd Dave Bull and the Bishop of Reading, the Rt Revd Mary Gregory, respectively.
There were celebrations and selfies this weekend as 18 deacons were ordained priest at services around the diocese.
Twenty new deacons will be ordained at Christ Church Cathedral on 5 July, going on to serve their curacies throughout the diocese.
Two church volunteers have been recognised in the King’s Birthday Honours.
The Revd Philippa White has been appointed as the next Bishop's Chaplain for Bishop Steven.
The Revd Fung Ming Lau has been welcomed to Trinity Earley as an Associate Minister with oversight of the Hong Kong Ministry at the church.
The UKME Chapter at the diocese will welcome the Revd Serena Tajima as its next Dean. Serena takes over from the Revd Canon Janet Binns who has stepped down after three years in the role.
