Yellow Braces 2017 proves an absolute “knockout” of fun, faith and community

THE Diocesan Youth Camp Yellow Braces was a glorious weekend of faith, fun and community at the Hill End Outdoor Centre near Oxford.

It’s a Knockout provided splashing good fun at Yellow Braces 2017

Young people from around the Diocese threw themselves into the activities of the weekend, literally when it came to the “It’s a knockout” obstacles.

As well as the traditional waterballoon volleyball and other madcap activities there was time in Dorm groups exploring life and faith; and our worship gathering where we looked at a ‘life fully lived’ looking at what it meant to be Christ-like in contemplation, compassion and courage.

Next years Yellow Braces is July 6th – 8th. Ian Macdonald (Diocesan Youth Adviser) is very happy to come to your group or church to chat about how you can be part of it. Email youthofficer@oxford.anglican.org to find out how to get involved.
