The Archdeaconry of Berkshire
The Benefice of Bradfield, Bucklebury and Stanford Dingley
Team Vicar (House for Duty)
Are you an experienced priest who is committed to mission?
Would you like to live and work in an area of outstanding natural beauty in West Berkshire?
Does working with a friendly, focused and capable team dedicated to making a difference in our communities excite you?
We are a newly created Benefice of three rural parishes and are embarking on a new phase of ministry following the recent appointment of a Team Rector. You will join a committed team of ordained and lay leaders and, although you will work across the team, you will have a particular focus on the village communities closest to where you will live in Bradfield Southend.
Our churches enjoy a range of worship styles (traditional and contemporary) and we are committed to seeing the extension of God’s Kingdom.
We have a particular desire to reach out to children and their families in the area.
If you would like to have an informal conversation about this post, please contact the Team Rector, Steve Newbold on 0118 227 5674 (steve@2bsd.org.uk) or the Archdeacon, Stephen Pullin on 07435 798846 (archdeacon.berkshire@oxford.anglican.org)
All appointments are subject to acceptable pre-appointment checks, including a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Check.
