Bishop of Oxford tells Lords: “The speed of change, and the significant power unleashed, make this revolution distinct from other technical developments in the past, because there is a risk that the speed of change will itself undermine the very benefits that change brings."
It was a chance to give thanks for Bishop Steven’s faithful ministry in the diocese over the past ten years, offering prayers and good wishes to both him and his wife Ann, and witness the laying down of the diocesan Pastoral Staff.
The special service was led by the Rt Revd Dr Steven Croft; the final ordination he will conduct before retiring as Bishop of Oxford later this year.
