Deputy Director of Education – Quality and Delivery (School Effectiveness)

Commencing salary:  £69,481

The Diocese of Oxford is seeking a Deputy Director of Education – Quality and Delivery (School Effectiveness) to lead a key part of the support the Oxford Diocesan Board of Education (ODBE) provides to its family of schools. The role is available from September 2019.

This is a hands-on leadership role and you will be a key part of the leadership team for ODBE.

We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record as a head teacher or senior leader in a school, college or local authority and an ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You should be an excellent classroom practitioner with Qualified Teacher Status and have demonstrable experience of leading school effectiveness and improvement across a wide range of schools.

Salary commencing at £69,481. An Enhanced DBS Disclosure will be required for this position.
FTE 37 hours, Monday – Friday. It is recognised that this role requires the need to work flexibly, and with that some evening and weekend work will be required.
