Fees for Weddings and Funerals are set by Archbishops’ Council, usually with revised levels from January each year.

If you have queries that are not answered by the guidance or FAQs, please contact the Diocesan Finance Department. If as Treasurer or Administrator you are unsure of the type of service to record on the form please discuss this with the Minister who conducted the service.
Please send returns for the previous financial year by 31 January to enable these to be included in the year end accounts and next year’s share allocation calculations. The report below summarises fee returns received to date.
Diocesan Fee Returns
Please note that the Fee Returns procedure has changed and we now only require one form, the Parish Parochial Fees Quarterly Returns Form, to be submitted quarterly per Parish, together with the corresponding payment. For reporting purposes at Parish level, which inform deanery Parish Share calculations, please complete a separate Form for each Parish, even if the payment is sent jointly as a Benefice or Team. You can download copies of the fee returns forms at the bottom of this page in excel or pdf format.
If there are no fees due for a quarter please submit a nil return.

Forms may also be submitted electronically to our finance department and payment be made by electronic bank transfer (bank details can be found at the bottom of the Parish Parochial Fees Quarterly Returns Form – see below). Your Parish Fees Account number should be used as the payment reference for all electronic payments.
Please also ensure that your Parish Fees Account number is clearly listed on your Diocesan Fee Return paperwork to ensure your fees are correctly allocated to your Parish (see following link to reference your Fees Account Number):
