Interfaith Relations

Chaired by The Ven Martin Gorick, Archdeacon of Oxford, and Diocesan lead on Interfaith issues

In 21st century Britain, there are many different faith communities around us, and we need to be equipped for engaging with those of other faiths.
This day will focus on three other religions, and will provide an opportunity to:

  • look at why the subject of Interfaith Relations is important for everyone in ministry
  • engage personally with leaders of other faiths
  • hear presentations by Hindu, Muslim and Sikh representatives on the issues that their faith community faces in contemporary Britain
  • enjoy an Asian buffet for lunch!
  • ask questions of the guest speakers
