#DIYcross

We are encouraging everyone to get creative as churches aren’t able to hand out the traditional palm crosses. The Revd Philipa White, from Christ Church Cathedral, has collated a host of suggestions below for making your own. There are ideas for people of all ages, many of them very easy to do, with minimal equipment. The Rev Mark Nelson, Assistant Curate of the Benefice of Winslow, Great Horwood and Addington is featured making a palm cross in the video below

However you make your cross, may it be to you a sign of God’s blessing for the days ahead. And do send in your pictures of your crosses.

Alternatively you may like to find an image of a cross which you own, or a leafy branch in your garden; to fold a “palm cross” out of paper, or to draw a cross on paper or card.
