Palm Sunday

A sign of God's blessing in Holy Week

We are encouraging everyone to get creative this Palm Sunday. The Revd Philippa White, from Christ Church Cathedral, has collated a host of suggestions below for making your own palm cross.

There are ideas for people of all ages, many of them very easy to do, with minimal equipment.

The Revd Mark Nelson, assistant curate of the Benefice of Winslow, Great Horwood and Addington, is featured making a palm cross in the video below. However you make your cross, may it be to you a sign of God’s blessing for the days ahead. And do let us know if you make one!

Alternatively you may like to find an image of a cross which you own or a leafy branch in your garden, to fold a “palm cross” out of paper, or to draw a cross on paper or card.
