Coronavirus (COVID-19) guidance for parishes

All clergy and churchwardens should read the following guidance and links concerning Coronavirus. The Diocese of Oxford is in regular communications with the National Church and local statutory authorities. As the situation materially changes, then new guidance will be immediately sent to all email contacts. People are expected to self-isolate when guided to do so and must not request home visits.

Churches and clergy are trusted voices in our communities. Please continue to support those who are feeling anxious and affirm and the correct advice from the government. Clergy may also wish to challenge misinformation spreading in their congregations and communities where it is appropriate to do so, but must only point to the resources published on and linked from this page.

Use the links to the right of this page (at the bottom of your screen on a mobile device) for specific help and guidance from the Diocese of Oxford.
