A Year of celebration and transition
The past year has been marked by both celebration and transition across the Diocese of Oxford. We have welcomed new episcopal ministries in Buckingham and Reading, celebrated flourishing parish communities, and continued to invest in young people, inclusion and safeguarding across the Diocese.
From ordinations and international links to the installation of new artwork at Christ Church and the growth of diverse worshipping communities, there has been much to give thanks for. Alongside these moments of joy, we continue to learn from past failings and remain committed to creating safer churches for all.
As Bishop Steven prepares to retire after ten years of ministry in the Diocese, this review reflects with gratitude on all that has been achieved together and with hope for the future ahead.
