2018 General Synod Election
An election of one clergy (proctor) candidate to represent the Diocese on the General Synod is due to take place in January 2018 in order to fill the vacancy left by the Revd Kate Stacey’s resignation.
By way of reminder, the current members are the Revd Samuel Allberry, the Revd Dr Andrew Atherstone, the Revd Jonathan Beswick, the Revd Canon Sue Booys, the Revd Prof Mark Chapman, the Revd Canon Charlie Cleverly, the Ven Martin Gorick and the Revd Canon Rosie Harper.
This page contains hustings videos and election addresses by candidates for the vacant position on the General Synod. Replies to questions compiled by the registrar will be published on this page on 17th January at 5pm.
How to vote : those members of clergy who are entitled to vote have been sent voting papers and instructions by post. Only those who are entitled to vote may do so.
