Bishop of Oxford
Together we are prayerfully seeking our next Bishop of Oxford.
Bishop Steven Croft’s retirement in summer 2026 means we are now undertaking the Vacancy in See process.
The role of the Bishop of Oxford is high profile, leading the Diocese of Oxford and representing the national Church in Parliament and abroad. Appointing a new Bishop takes time, but we are well placed for the journey.
Meet the people helping discern our next bishop.
