Bereavement and Loss

The ‘Other resources’ page, with live links, is available in an online version here

Some of the most poignant moments I have experienced in over forty years as a Christian minister have been in schools following a death in their community. For many it was their first real encounter with death and the experience of someone being removed from their lives never to return. We remembered them and what they meant to us. We honoured them by planting trees and in services of thanksgiving. And as we remembered there were flashes of laughter and pride alongside the tears of grief. There are no simple formulae for such occasions.

There could not be a more timely or helpful resource.
