School Link Adviser (ODBE)

The Diocese of Oxford is seeking a School Link Adviser, to support the Oxford Diocesan Board of Education (ODBE) and its family of schools.  This is a full-time role but also open to candidates who are seeking a part-time or secondment opportunity.

We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record as a head teacher or senior leader in a primary school or in recent advisory/consultancy work and can demonstrate school improvement experience and an ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Working closely as part of a team, the successful candidate will:

  • support the development of Diocesan schools as providers of high equality educational and spiritual experience;
  • play a leading role in the effectiveness of ODBE services and operations;
  • support projects in Multi-Academy Trusts;
  • participate in the formulation of local education policy.

Salary:  £52,979 (FTE)
FTE 37 hours, Monday-Friday.  It is recognised that this role requires the need to work flexibly, and with that some evening and weekend work may be required.

An Enhanced DBS Disclosure will be required for this position.
