Rooted in two years of listening, the vision for the Diocese of Oxford is to ‘become a more Christ-like Church for the sake of God’s world: contemplative, compassionate and courageous’. Background information on the process to date is available on our website at https://www.oxford.anglican.org/commonvision.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience as a programme/project manager or as an administrative professional with a track record of budgeting and management of resources. They will be able to relate well at all levels and have excellent report writing skills along with experience of writing project proposals and funding applications. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and databases is essential along with a theological and practical understanding of holistic mission in contemporary society.
The post is subject to the requirement that the holder be a practising Christian, under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010 as this post will advise and support the work of discerning and implementing the common vision and diocesan strategy. The post holder will also have a representational role on behalf of the Diocese of Oxford
