Priest in Charge and Associate Priest (two posts), Warfield, Archdeaconry of Berkshire

, ,

Warfield Church has just celebrated 1000 years of Christian worship.  The parish church is set in beautiful Berkshire countryside, to the north of the regenerating town of Bracknell.  We have a second church building in the parish, and we meet in five locations (soon to be six) every Sunday.  We already have with us an Interim Associate Priest, an Associate Minister for the Under 30s, a strong staff team, and a huge body of volunteers.  Warfield Church’s primary mission is ‘Connecting people to Jesus’ (Luke 19:10).

Bishop Andrew of Reading has said:  We are looking for two people who know their need of God; real servant leaders, who love God and God’s people, as the good and faithful shepherds we pray they will be. They will need to be comfortable in who they are and whose they are, because we will look to them to work in close partnership with all God’s people here, to release, encourage and direct the energy and gifts of all.  They will need to have a heart for all ages and abilities, as Warfield Church continues to grow as the truly inter-generational Church it is now.

Closing Date for both posts:
Noon on Friday 14th July 2017

Interviews:
For Priest in Charge – Monday 4th September 2017
For Associate Priest – Wednesday 6th September 2017
