PA to the Director of Mission and Administrator to CMD team/PDA’s

The Department of Mission is seeking an experienced PA and Administrator to support the Director of Mission, the Continuing Ministerial Development (CMD) Team and the Parish Development Advisers (PDA’s).

Working collaboratively across the department you will:

  • work alongside the Director of Mission, providing efficient and effective PA support, including facilitating meetings, diary management, dealing with correspondence and enquiries and anticipating future engagements;
  • provide effective administrative support to the CMD team, including ensuring that training programmes, events and day courses are run effectively, producing statistical reports and providing administrative support to CMD team members including a variety of supporting committees;
  • support the work of the wider Department of Mission team by co-ordinating activity with the other departmental administrators, participating in team meetings and supporting the design and maintenance of departmental webpages.

You will be a team player with excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills and able to prioritise your own workload. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have experience of co-ordinating meetings and events. The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, work accurately and with good attention to detail are essential to this role. Previous experience of working within the charity sector would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Hours:               37 hours per week
Salary Scale:   £24,763 per annum
