New clergy for Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire

Former teachers, a sheep expert, a nurse and people from many other walks of life are to be ordained as Deacons in special services at Christ Church Cathedral in Oxford. A total of 25 new clergy who will be ordained on Saturday 4 July at three services, to be held at 10am, 2pm and 6pm. The newly ordained Deacons will mainly serve as curates in parishes across the Diocese of Oxford, which covers Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.

Susan Smith - Weston Turville

Graham Summers - Penn and Tylers Green

Jennifer Tebboth - Chalfont St Giles

Ann Kember - Wolverton

Berkshire - to be ordained at 2pm

Kathryn Harrison - New Windsor

Nicola Hulks - St Luke's, Maidenhead

Benjamin Kautzer - St Nicolas, Earley

Janice Macdonald - Aldermaston and Woolhampton

William McDowell - East Downland Benefice

Elizabeth Ratcliffe - Christ Church, Reading

Oxford - to be ordained at 2pm

Sheila Crowther - Osney Benefice

Daniel Hames - St Aldate's

Jarred Mercer - St Mary Magdalen, Oxford

Dorchester - to be ordained at 6pm
