The Revd Dr Victoria Slater is the newly appointed Project Researcher for the diocesan Living Well in the End Times project.

This is a Practical Theology project run by the Diocese of Oxford in collaboration with Ripon College Cuddesdon.

It aims to enable people to engage more fully with practical, psychological, and spiritual issues associated with the end of life so that they may be better able to live well until they die.

Victoria's post is funded by a grant from the Henry Smith Charity. Victoria is a practical theologian who has worked for many years as a healthcare chaplain specialising in End of Life care.

She will be working for the project three days a week, usually Monday to Wednesday 0830 - 1600.

The focus of her work will be the support and evaluation of specific projects based on the Living Well in the End Times material produced by SCOP.
