Because of the Coronavirus, we're not able to meet all together for church holiday clubs this summer - and one of those clubs is Lighthouse, a Christian holiday club that's been running for ages! But fear not - because whether you're at home, in the garden or the car - Lighthouse is bringing the fun to you.

Join in online with a new, free app from Monday 27 to Friday 31 July. Lighthouse began in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire and has grown to attract 5,000 children and 3,000 leaders each year.

Lighthouse holiday clubs, in normal times, take place in 12 venues.

Here are the details of Lighthouse Live - the web-based lockdown version:

The day will start at 10am with an hour-long show presented by Joanna (from CBeebies), Pete and Professor Max (he's a dog but thinks he's human) and packed with lots of fun, singing, dancing, Bible Stories, surprise guests, challenges and messy games. Once the show has finished, there will be various activities.

There will be a daily craft activity, prayer craft, awesome fun stuff to download, street dance, a sports challenge, a quiz that everyone in the family can do, some lovely stretching mindfulness time - and quite a few surprises. At 4pm we will be back in the studio with more music, fun and games - and someone somewhere will be gunged.

It could be you. Want to join the fun? Sign up here .

You will receive the link to access Lighthouse Live for the week and to download materials like colouring sheets and puzzles and the all-important list of what you'll need for a week of Lighthouse Craft! Everyone is welcome, no matter what age. Note: Are you involved with the children, youth or families at your church? Would you like to learn more about working with children, youth or families? If so, check out our new Disciples Together report. For more contact Lighthouse Central Director, Patricia Reading: director@lighthousecentral. org.
