Headteacher, St Nicolas’ Church of England Combined School

Rectory Road, Taplow, Buckinghamshire, SL6 0ET

The governors of St Nicolas’ are seeking a dynamic and caring individual to lead the school from September 2021, following the retirement of our current headteacher.

St Nicolas’ is a great school – it is a happy environment where children are placed at the heart of everything and so thrive in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We are a one-form entry school, oversubscribed in recent years, with 217 currently on roll. Christian values are core to our ethos and underpin a curriculum which develops a love of learning, lifelong skills and prepares the children for the challenges that the future holds.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the school at an exciting time through the next phase of its growth – we are ambitious for the future and start from a very strong foundation with an excellent team of teachers and staff, engaged parents and carers and strong links to the parish church, Diocese and wider community.

Feel free to contact our chair of governors, Paul Tracey on ptracey@stnicolastaplow.com, for an informal conversation about the role prior to application, and take the time to familiarise yourself with school life at our website, where an information pack and the application form can also be downloaded.
