The governors of St Nicolas’ are seeking a dynamic and caring individual to lead the school from September 2021, following the retirement of our current headteacher.

St Nicolas’ is a great school – it is a happy environment where children are placed at the heart of everything and so thrive in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We are a one-form entry school, oversubscribed in recent years, with 217 currently on roll. Christian values are core to our ethos and underpin a curriculum which develops a love of learning, lifelong skills and prepares the children for the challenges that the future holds.

Subject to mutual agreement, compliance with government guidelines and a satisfactory risk assessment it may be possible to arrange a school visit and, potentially, conduct the interview process (in part or in whole) in person.
