Free event offers the chance to learn about Mission Shaped Grace

The Revd John McGinley

ARE you curious to find out more about what mission looks like in the 21st Century? If so, the Mission Shaped Grace conference at St George’s Church Britwell could be for you.

The event is organised by the Burnham and Slough Deanery and aims to help anyone interested to discover more about what churches can do in their communities. John McGinley, the vicar of Holy Trinity Church, Leicester and the New Wine Regional Director for the Midlands and East is the keynote speaker. John is a husband, dad and official dog walker of Monty the Springer Spaniel.

John will be speaking about how to do mission in our modern day culture, using his new book Mission-Shaped Grace.

Mission-Shaped Grace contains five missional practices for the 21st Century to help Christians reach out to relatives, friends and work colleagues with the message of hope.

The conference takes place on Saturday 29 September, 9.30am-2.30pm. More details here.
