Farewell to governor Graham after 21 years’ service

For Graham Anderson, this week marks the end of 21 years service as a governor at Winslow Church of England School in Buckinghamshire.

Graham has served the school while also being the first lay chair of a panel for the revalidation and appraisal of NHS consultants, is a board member of the MK Cancer Patient Partnership and a member of the Friends of Norden House Surgery. “Graham Anderson has been a fine Governor, for whom we have a huge respect, but also a true friend for whom we have a great love,” commented the head teacher, Cazz Colmer.

“Over the past two years since I joined Winslow Church of England School as its headteacher, Graham has been my Chair of Governors. I will always be grateful for his awesome wisdom and sharp critical faculty; his gentle supportive challenge and continuing interest in all aspects of school life; above all, for the sacrificial giving of his time and his genuine concern for the reputation and well-being of Winslow Church of England School. He has been a constant in all of our lives and a much-appreciated companion to me.  Thank you, Graham.”
