New to study? Or maybe it’s been a while? This day is to help adult learners ease back into the world of study, with a focus on basic study skills, finding your way around our Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle), and getting to grips with academic practices. The morning will include: writing good theological essays, constructing portfolios, academic referencing and making the most of learning styles. The afternoon will focus on Moodle, introducing on-line assignment submission and our new plagiarism checking software. There will also be opportunity to follow up on some of the morning’s material.
Advisable for new ordinands and LLMs in training, as well as existing students wanting to get to grips more with Moodle. Come for all or half of the day.

Cost : £20 This course is free to all Diocesan LLMs in Training and Ordinands, and their supporters. However, we also welcome others to take part, and make a nominal charge of £20 foir this 1 day course (when booking your place, please use the “Other Interested Learner” Ticket option)
