NEW TO STUDY? OR MAYBE IT’S BEEN A WHILE? This induction course is to help adult learners ease back into the world of study, with a focus on basic study skills, finding your way around our Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle), and getting to grips with academic practices. Material will include: writing theological essays, constructing portfolios, academic referencing and making the most of learning styles. You will also be introduced to various Moodle functions.
The course will open at the beginning of September, when you will be asked to work through some basic online materials at your own pace. You will need to have completed this element of the course before the group tutorial, which will be held virtually during the morning of Sat 12th September. Full joining instructions will be issued upon booking through Eventbrite. Advisable for new ordinands and LLMs in training, as well as interested learners or existing students wanting to get to grips more with Moodle.
