A free conference (organised by the Burnham and Slough Deanery) open to all who are passionate about mission in their local communities and want to know more about how we can be church where people are.
We are delighted to welcome John McGinley as our keynote speaker. John is the Vicar of Holy Trinity Church, Leicester and the New Wine Regional Director for the Midlands and East. He is a husband, dad and official dog walker of Monty the Springer Spaniel.
John will be speaking on mission, using his new book, Mission-Shaped Grace. Mission-Shaped Grace is an attempt to capture what John believes God has been teaching his people about mission in our modern day culture. The five missional practices for the 21st Century contained in this book will help us to reach out to our family, friends and work colleagues with the message of hope.
The book will be on sale at the conference.
“A wonderful guide to what it truly means to be a disciple. Immensely practical, and equally inspiring, this book will help you to powerfully share the Gospel and make disciples. Buy it today and put the words on its pages into action.” Gavin Calver, Director of Mission/England, Evangelical Alliance.
Refreshments and lunch will be provided. Booking essential by 15 September via Eventbrite:
