Holy Communion is central to Christian worship. But what is communion ‘by extension’? And how does this service differ from the Eucharist and home communion? This course explores Communion by Extension and its relation to the Eucharist in both the Bible and Anglican tradition. It is open to anyone interested in discovering more about this aspect of Christian worship and is particularly designed for those training through Oxford’s diocesan Authorised Ministry Scheme to lead services of Communion by Extension.
