How do we best serve our schools.
Our work with and in schools needs to be sensitive and responsive to their needs in a rapidly changing environment. We have a great opportunity to bring the realities of faith into the lives of children in school through a great variety of means. This course encourages us to challenge our assumptions and asks if our current roles really are the best way of serving our schools – whether they are Church schools or not.
We will consider:
- The characteristics of creative, enriching church/school relationships;
- The changing world(s) of children;
- Governance and the importance of boundaries;
- Multi-faith issues;
- … and more
We look forward to you joining us for a day of discussion and exploration of how we can best serve our schools.
The day is led by Charles Chadwick & Robin Sharples drawing on examples of best practise from around the Diocese
