The workshop is being led by a professional fundraiser and will be relevant to churches with any capital funding need, whether that’s for repairs, conservation, re-ordering, extension, buying additional premises… whatever. So it’s not just for those planning to provide community facilities.
The workshop will be led by David Saint, Chairman of Action Planning, who has extensive experience of advising churches and other Christian charities on their fundraising needs. The programme will include a consideration of why people give, and how to ask, an overview of the types of funding source to be considered, the importance of the ‘case for support’ and how to make it as compelling as possible, a framework for a fundraising strategy, the role of a fundraising feasibility study, and how to develop a fundraising action plan that is appropriate to your situation.
The places for this event are very limited, there are just 30 spaces and we ask that only one member of the team from each parish attend so that as many parishes as possible benefit from the day.
