New research from Care for the Family reinforces what was already known – that parents matter most in the faith formation and spiritual nurture of children. That same research also emphasises what a struggle this is for many Christian families who lack confidence, time and where cultural influences and distractions are key factors that hinder families nurturing faith.
The ‘Faith in the Family’ day conference aims to explore what response this demands from the Church. How might we journey with parents and carers and better support them and their families? How do we help parents intentionally raise their children as disciples?
