MISSION & EVANGELISM (Level 4: Introductory)
MISSION AND EVANGELISM ARE HIGH ON THE CHURCH’S AGENDA. This course explores these concepts (they’re not the same!) and considers some of the many ways in which we can join in with God’s work in the world, whether through transformation of culture or environment, running Alpha and Messy Church, or simply sharing our faith with our neighbours. Personal and parish-wide strategies will be considered, making this course of interest to anyone wanting to serve God in the world. Those discerning a vocation to ordination may find it helpful preparation for part of the selection process.
This course will be delivered online. Initial learning resources will go ‘live’ from Wed 9th Sept – two weeks before the first tutorial. This gives you time to work through the introductory and ‘week 1’ learning materials (short videos, guided reading and other tasks and activities) at your own pace. You will need to have completed these tasks prior to your first group tutorial on either Weds 23rd or Thurs 24th Sept. Subsequent learning materials will then be released each week for you to work through in time for the following week’s group tutorial.
Full joining instructions will be issued upon booking through Eventbrite.
