We will gather in Holy Week to prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred events at the centre of our faith: the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Please note that due to building work at the Cathedral, the service will be held at Dorchester Abbey this year.
Please bring those who exercise ministry with you to join the congregation, and in particular your ministry teams, so that ordained and lay ministers may renew their commitment together.
Please note that robing ordained and licensed lay ministers need to register on Eventbrite, whilst other members of your ministry team and congregation are welcome to simply turn up for the service.
Coffee and pastries will be served directly after the service at the Abbey. We do hope you will stay to enjoy this fellowship and perhaps bring a packed lunch or go out to lunch with friends.
Parking will be available in the Parish Council car parks to the north and south of the village, these will be well signposted. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PARK IN THE HIGH STREET. Drivers are welcome to drop off passengers outside the Abbey before parking. There are disabled parking spaces in the village outside the pubs and in the small car park – a small number of spaces are available for self-drive and severely disabled persons – these MUST be booked through Dorchester Abbey not less than 48 hours before the event. Stocks of consecrated oil will be available after the service. Stocks are kept at the Cathedral during the year and supplies are available on request.
