This module will develop an understanding of the key roles and responsibilities of governors in a church school and how to fulfil these expectations in all aspects of school life. We will refer to what is meant by upholding the distinctive Christian foundation and relate this to the statutory frameworks of both SIAMS and Ofsted. This module is suitable for both new and experienced governors. It is highly recommended that all new governors complete this training as part of their induction process.
