This training event has now been cancelled due to the anticipated change in weather conditions for this evening.
Weather forecasts are now showing the high possibility of snowfall in each of the 3 counties from 6 pm. This may make driving conditions – to and from the venue- hazardous. Our concern for safety is paramount here.
We will try and reschedule as soon as possible. Please take care in these wintery conditions.

Becoming an Effective Governor examines the key roles and responsibilities for Governors within a Church School setting. Using presentation and discussion it provides:
- Opportunities for Governors to explore their understanding.
- The balance of support and challenge required for senior leaders.
- The key questions to ask.
- What, using national research, effective governance looks like in our schools today.
This module is a priority for all recently appointed governors and to enable all Governors to remain up to date with the current educational landscape.
