The Dorchester episcopal area covers a great deal of Oxfordshire, apart from the City of Oxford. It extends from the Cotswolds in the west all the way down to Henley-on-Thames.

The Revd Canon David Tyler was a chartered accountant before ordination and became Associate Archdeacon of Dorchester in 2020. David will be collated as Archdeacon of Dorchester in March 2023, following the retirement of the Ven Judy French.
