Children and Families Minister, St Edburg’s Church, Bicester

St Edburg’s is Bicester’s main parish church.  We have been recognised by the Diocese of Oxford for our work in ensuring inclusivity of children in our church worship. To reflect the variety of needs, traditions and approaches within our community, St Edburg’s offers a range of services each week, including three on Sunday mornings. One of these, the 9.30 Service, is aimed at families and those who welcome a more informal approach; it is lay led.

The post is on a part-time basis (approximately 10 hours per week), to include some Sunday morning teaching alongside our 9.30 am service, to grow our volunteers and consider creatively how we can build up our children’s provision generally. We are offering a salary starting at £9 per hour, depending on experience.

If you are looking for a challenge, are flexible, creative, committed to seeing children and families grow in faith and mission, and enjoying their integral and vital part in the church’s family, then this is the role for you.
