Watling Valley Partnership churches in Milton Keynes are hosting a drive-in carol service - a chance to sing your heart out from the safety of your own car. Featuring music from local band TesTamenT and the Salvation Army, Car Park Carols is a wonderful opportunity to hear the story of Christmas alongside some thoughts for our world today. The event is free, though donations to the work of the churches are welcome.

There's even a prize for the best decorated car!

Share the light

Car Park Carols takes place on December 13th and is part of a busy season of events in Watling Valley.

The packed online programme includes carols, a Christingle service, Christmas Eve meditation and an all-age Christmas Day service.

Downloadable activity sheets for children will be available on their website shortly. The onsite programme features free events across the five churches.

St Mary's Church in Shenley is set to sparkle from December 20th as it transforms into a Christmas trail for all the family, whilst St Giles' Church invites you to see Christmas through the window and collect a candle to take home and 'share the light'.

There is also a nativity trail across the grounds of Servant King Church, using QR codes to play carols along the way.

You can also add a bauble or ribbon to the community Christmas tree in memory of a loved one. The events are free, though donations to the work of the Watling Valley Churches are welcome.

Pre-booking is required for some events and please remember to keep a social distance throughout all onsite activities.

Car Park Carols will also be available to watch via Facebook .
