Administrator (Generous Giving Adviser & Social Justice Adviser)

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated administrator to support the work of the Generous Giving Adviser and Social Justice Adviser within the Department of Mission and Ministry. The successful candidate will provide support to a wide variety of people including staff, clergy and volunteers of the Church of England within the Diocese of Oxford.

A proactive approach and a flexible attitude will be key to fulfilling the following responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative and organisational support to the Generous Giving Adviser including managing the Generous Giving inbox, the administration and co-ordination of events, and responding to enquiries.
  • Supporting the work of the Social Justice Adviser by undertaking administrative and organisational duties including maintaining and updating effective engagement records, providing graphical data and taking minutes of meetings.
  • Providing assistance to the external network of spiritual directors and the wider Discipleship and Social Justice Team within the Department of Mission and Ministry.

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, an eye for detail and enjoy working with a wide variety of people. Hours:             12 hours (0.32FTE) per week with regular agreed hours and days
Salary Scale:   £25,011.24 – £26,935.26 pro-rata per annum
