The House for Duty priest will be involved in ministry across the six villages, working the equivalent of three days a week including Sundays [normally two or three services]. Where required there are some retired clergy, living locally and team curates to assist.

He/she will normally take occasional offices or arrange suitable cover for these. The number of occasional offices varies from year to year but might average 6/7 funerals and 2 weddings per year.

• Is a positive team player who values the contributions and perspectives of others.
• Is an encourager and an enabler who gets on well with people from very varied backgrounds.
• Will see the Church as an integral part of the life of the wider community has a love for people and wishes to get involved and known in our villages.
• Has a sense of fun and will value and enjoy being a part of our community
