REinspired - the Churches Together in Earley and East Reading Schools Work Project - has appointed a new project manager thanks to funding by the Baptist Union and the Jerusalem Trust.
Over the next year Pete Stone will talk with local schools to establish their needs, and look at ways to disseminate the REInspired model to other areas.
He will also join other trustees to look at ways to make the project financially sustainable in the long term.
One of the aims will be to build support from the local churches and other bodies and individuals.
The Trust is currently producing a three-year business plan mapping out its aims for developing the work of REInspired in its mission to help schools and pupils engage creatively with faith.
