Archbishop opens Butler Centre in Wantage

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, meets two youngsters from the afterschool club run at the Butler Centre, Wantage. The Archbishop was in Wantage on Ascension Day to open to the centre, which was converted from a Victorian infant school into a facility offering childcare for children from two years upwards. The vision for the centre came from members of SS Peter and Paul church in Wantage. He praised the church for looking to find ways it could serve the community.
