Harvest highlights an attitude of gratitude
31 October 2011
Infant school children entertained parents and siblings with powens, prayers, artworks and songs. Year two children sold donated items of food and local produce and raised £116 towards the Wargrave Luncheon Club for their Christmas party in january.
The Junior School also held a Harvest celebration at St Mary's Church. The children presented facts they had researched about the Harvest from the land, trees and
seas and reflected on the message of having an 'attitude of gratitude.'
The Year 6 pupils delivered goody bags crammed with harvest donations to some of the elderly in Wargrave who were very grateful for the gifts.
