CHILDREN from Gerrards Cross CE Primary School were guests of honour at the annual headteachers’ service at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford.

Around 60 pupils from the school, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, performed a song written by a talented parent. Headteacher Nicola Flower, said: “The song is about all the school has been in the past and all it will continue to be and what better way to launch the song than at this service.”

The school had held special picnics, an arts week and is looking forward to a visit from the Bishop of Oxford, the Rt Revd John Pritchard, as part of its anniversary year.
