Christian Giving and Funding
The Christian Giving and Funding Adviser
Robin’s role is to advise churches and their leaders on motivating (a) their congregations, (b) local communities, and (c) external funders to resource the mission and ministry of their church.
His advice includes:
- reframing giving around discerning God’ mission for each church focusing on vision, values and purpose,
- planning and implementing Christian Giving and wider stewardship programmes,
- tax efficient giving through the Gift Aid scheme,
- vision and project development (including the link between the project, its faculty process, planning advice, and the needs of external funders),
- reaching out to local communities through communications and fundraising,
- effective ways to secure external funding,
- annual ‘thank you’ letters and giving renewal prompts,
- auditing parish planned giving profiles,
- Frequently Asked Questions about giving and Gift Aid,
- sources of preaching, prayer and liturgy resources on giving, sharing and Christian generosity.
