This is the section where we bring together resources you need to help the running of the parish. Use the menu to the right to see the ‘nuts and bolts’ information on offer.

Staff support the parishes in the Diocese of Oxford in a number of ways.

This includes providing financial, legal and administrative services, and advising on important areas such as children’s and youth work, social justice initiatives, safeguarding, communications, and supporting the 278 church schools in our diocese attended by more than 50,000 children and young people.

Many of the officers providing these services work out of Diocesan Church House which is in the village of North Hinksey on the outskirts of Oxford. Some services are provided by the Area offices.

A large number of visitors come to Diocesan Church House during the working week, evenings and weekends, for meetings and training events.
