New look at historic abbey The first Dorchester-on-Thames fundraising festival of music and arts was a fitting place for the launch of Dorchester Abbey 635-2005 edited by Dr Kate Tiller, a Reader in English Local History at Oxford University.

Walkers Step Out to Preserve the Abbey A total of 55 spirited walkers have marched along 50 miles of the Thames path over five days, raising more than £25,000 for the Friends and Preservation Trust of Dorchester Abbey.
