- Parish Development Advisers share in ministry with clergy and lay leaders in parishes, benefices and deaneries, by:
- Consulting individuals, groups and congregations; reviewing, planning, advising, resourcing, training and supporting
- Providing leadership training for clergy, readers, church wardens, PCC secretaries, PCC treasurers, PCC members, house group leaders, those involved in pastoral care and deanery pastoral committees
- Arranging Away Days, Quiet Days, Parish Review, Resource Days, and conflict management training; providing consultancy on building ministry teams, worship development, weekend conferences, coordinating reader training and local ministry development
- In partnership with neighbouring dioceses and the Herts and Bucks Youth and Training Units, providing training courses in team building, group work and developing training skills.
