We were saddened to hear of the death last week of Sir Alan McLintock.
Sir Alan received a knighthood for services to the Church of England. He was a trustee of the Church Urban Fund (1990-98); a member of the Central Board of Finance of the Church of England (1992-98) and a member of the Archbishop’s Communion on organisation of C of E (1994-96). He lived for many years in Oxford Diocese and was Churchwarden of Fulbrook, Witney Deanery. He was father-in-law to the Bishop of London.
