Godly Play

 

If you'd like to know more about Godly play, it's use in schools or parish or visit the classroom with your after-school club, Brownies or Cubs please contact Yvonne Morris, Children's Adviser, on 01685 208255.

Day cources cost £25

Unless stated events are hosted at the Godly Play Classroom, Conduit Road, Abingdon, OX14 1 DB,

Introductory Days;

Tuesday 16th September 10am-2pm led by Yvonne Morris.

Saturday 15th November 10am-2pm led by Jenny Hyson

These courses cost £25 including lunch and refreshments.

 

These days are for those brand new to Godly Play who want to find out more, experience stories and think about how you might use Godly Play in your children's minsitry setting.

 

 

Development Session; Using Godly Play in my Sunday Ministry.

Monday 3rd November 7.30 - 9.30pm led by Yvonne Morris. This evening costs £10

This session is for those who are exploring using Godly Play as part of your Sunday minstry but are not sure how to introduce it to children and parents. 

Development Day Special Event; Journey with the People of God.

Monday 6th October 10am-2pm led by Jenny Hyson.

This course costs £25 including lunch and refreshments.

Spend a whole day exploring the Sacred Stories the journey through the desert. 

Development Day Special Event; Preparing Children for Holy Communion

Monday 20th October 10am-2pm led by Jenny Hyson.

This course costs £25 including lunch and refreshments.

For those churches thinking about or recently have admitted Baptised children to Holy Communion before confirmation. THis day course looks at the Godly Play stories that could be used as part of a preparation course. 

Development Day Special Event; Preparing for Advent 

Tuesday 4th November 10am-2pm led by Jenny Hyson.

This course costs £25 including lunch, refreshments and materials to make a set of cards. Felt and other materials may be sale at addittional cost.

 An opportunity to make a set of the Advent material, experiance the stories and get advise on how to use it.
