Supervision is the best way of ensuring both your own development as well as the best interests of those with whom you work.
The question of payment for supervision is endlessly debated in the spiritual direction networks. The group leader will negotiate with you directly. Something in the region of £10 per two hour group session is a good place to start. Some leaders will want you to make a donation to a charity of their choice, others need to earn their living and all need to pay for their own on-going training.
